There are numerous ways of looking at a game of blackjack. Well, it can be fun or gambling. Aside from this, it can reveal so much about its enthusiasts---about us.

Adding up to 21, no more, no less. There are various approaches to this in blackjack. There are strategies and techniques to know, skills to hone, and luck to have. But more than these, there is a foundation to lay on these things. A mind frame that has wisely sifted and compartmentalized various blackjack perspectives in the brain is a foundation to build on. To a lot of people, blackjack, like any other gambling game, is a card game where one must win to recover the bet and take some more money. But blackjack is also about outlooks and behaviors.

The bottom line of it all is that a blackjack experience ought to make us smarter and wiser in the end---regardless of whether we won or not.

Blackjack perspectives are what make the game fun or nuisance. If we get it from a right viewpoint, we always win. After all, it's all in the mind.
